Cancellation policy

  • If you cancel your registration before or on the 21st of April 2026, we will refund the registration fee, minus any bank transfer costs. Suppose you cancel after the 21st of April 2026 and we cannot assign your conference seat to a participant from the waiting list, unfortunately, we cannot refund the registration fee. If you can find a replacement, please contact us at info@efuf.org to transfer your registration.

In accordance with Swedish tax law and the EU VAT Directive (2006/112/EC, Articles 53–54), all registration fees for EFUF2026 are subject to Swedish VAT (25%), regardless of the participant’s country of residence or VAT status. Because the conference is an admission-based event physically held in Sweden, the VAT applies even to international participants, and the Reverse Charge Mechanism does not apply. Participants may, in some cases, be able to reclaim the VAT through their national tax authority under the EU VAT Refund Scheme or equivalent international procedures. The organisers are not responsible for handling or advising on VAT refund processes. Swedish companies and organisations that are VAT-registered may deduct or reclaim the VAT in their regular VAT reporting to Skatteverket. Please be aware that you will be registering and paying directly one of the local organisers (Tradkontoret). EFUF ivzw is not a contracting party within this arrangement and cannot take any liability.
